Back to the daily grind.
Chris had a two-week vacation following his six weeks working an internship nearby, so we had him home every night for eight weeks. It was bliss. But, now we’re back to the rest of life, and he has moved on to a new internship a few hours away. We’re definitely on the down-hill side of this crazy schedule we’ve been keeping, and I’m very grateful.
Christmas was wonderful. We had so much fun, and I thought I’d recap it a bit for you. This is going to be a photo-heavy post. I hope you don’t mind… *snicker*.
We opened gifts with my parents and brother’s family on Christmas Eve. After years of celebrating Christmas morning, this new tradition has been really new and nice and special.
Christmas Day is spent at my grandparents’ home. I’ve only ever missed one Christmas, and we take the same photos each year. It’s so awesome to be able to look back and see how the family has grown. Stones of remembrance…
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
